Hello World
That's how I'm supposed to start right?
Guessing you probably want to know who I am, well I'm a business student if that helps, a War-gamer should help a little more. Living in Nottingham, pushing toy soldiers around and playing games, oh and drinking, lots of drinking I'd imagine your getting the picture.
So why am I starting this blog? Well firstly I'm getting lazy, really lazy, I brought a ~2000pt Salamanders army to Nottingham with me, fully intending to get most of it painted up before I go home for Christmas. So far... 2 models... Yeah... Perhaps you're starting to see the problem here.
Thankfully the University Wargaming Soc (http://www.su-web2.nottingham.ac.uk/~rpgsoc/phpbb/) have a pretty lax policy on painted models but this hardly helps the motivation problem and their hobby evening clashes with Rock Society's Piracy night so that's sadly a no go as well.
That leaves me with willpower and determination, neither of which are able to push painting above university reading or the (admittedly limited) number of video games that still function on university internet.
So that brings me full circle. Eventually I hope to include battle reports and maybe something vaguely tactical on this blog although frankly 3++ seem to have the tactics thing pretty much down (http://kirbysblog-ic.blogspot.com/) .
Until then I'll throw up a few model pics in the hope someone will find them interesting.
